We were busy today! We learned the core word "like" with our fun adaptive book and then went to our tables where we were able to feed ourselves foods we liked! This activity was a hit! We also learned the pledge with visuals and our very own flags. Fun times in ECSE 💚

Community helpers are always so much fun for our littles to learn about! We were dentists, construction workers, chefs, firefighters, and so much more! This was a busy fun-filled unit 💙 @NISD_ECE @NISDFranklinES

With this month being Hispanic Heritage Month, we decided to celebrate in a fun way!! My little friends painted with popsicles (water & food coloring) which were safe to taste, we got to read "What can you do with a paleta?", and we ate some paletas 💙 @NISD_ECE @NISDFranklinES

This week, we have focused on our five senses with apples!! We used applesauce to write letters, we talked about our five senses with descriptive language visuals, we did a sink & float, we practiced fine motor, and so much more!! @NISD_ECE @NISDFranklinES

Read Across America is in full swing! Our Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Tree came out for a fun Read Aloud! We practiced retelling Brown Bear. Rhyming bins are always a hit, and Pete the Cat inspired our button counting activity. So fun! @NISD_ECE @NISDFranklinES

We continued to learn about community helpers this week! We worked with magnetic teeth rhyming words, the students explored "toothpaste" with letters, we made towers, and we were chefs with our pizzas 🍕 @NISD_ECE @NISDFranklinES

We have been talking all about community helpers!! My little friends brushed "teeth" just like dentists, we made alphabet soup with silly animals (just like our book), we made flight plans, and made our "patients" feel all better with colorful casts 💙 @NISDFranklinES @NISD_ECE

We worked on number recognition and gross motor skills with a number bean bag toss! We also built some ice castles 🏰 so much fun!!! And who doesn't enjoy a good Valentine's Day sensory bin 😍 we've been busy! @NISD_ECE @NISDFranklinES

Filling our snowman with pompoms was such a fun fine motor activity 😍 we also practiced writing in salt trays (a class favorite) 💙 @NISD_ECE @NISDFranklinES
