@MissAndieRaye Be bold. Writing is like so much else in life. Practice. Write as often as you can. It doesn't have to impress anyone. I use writing as a way to clarify my thoughts. You will find your voice. The mechanics of writing are easy. Find people to share your writing with.

@MissAndieRaye "To build a place that the sub feels safe, to process emotions" seems like someone needing some work done. From what shows up on my feed, many Dommes perceive the submissive as the one needing fixed. I'm just looking for a Domme that I could consider my peer.

To piggyback off my earlier post about service, let’s look at a different side of it. With no context, it can look a bit one sided to talk about being served but to not discuss what a submissive receives from me being that opportunity to serve. It’s important to me to build a space where a submissive feels safe. Whether that be a safe place to process emotions or fears, to explore all sorts of curiosities, to learn more about their authentic selves, or to let go of harmful self imposed limitations. I just won’t set myself on fire to do so.

Where exactly did I state or assume that subs need “fixing” or are unhealthy in any way? That would imply I think they’re broken, which has never been the case with subs I’ve interacted with. Wanting to provide a safe place and an anchor doesn’t mean I’m looking down on anyone, nor does it mean that I’m not self aware of my own ways I can improve or be better.

@MissAndieRaye Why is it assumed that the submissive needs a safe place or fixing? Some are totally secure and confident in who they are. They are mentally, physically and emotionally healthy. They have skills and knowledge that they are wanting to share with a Domme , so they both improve.
