@MissBSmith1995 @NooPuddles I insisted on an iron infusion. I haven't had my iron levels checked since (I will no doubt have to make an appointment in the next fortnight) but I do feel like I have much more energy and it's life changing. It does cost the NHS more than iron tablets though- £800!

Why am I so excessively tired all the time? Seriously. Yes I know, I’m 38, I have a toddler, but I’m really struggling at the moment. I already take Vit D and Iron. I don’t drink coffee. Any tips? Any advice? I need some energy!

@Snotlady5 @NooPuddles Can I ask how you managed to get your iron levels back to a safe/normal range please? I’ve been on iron and b12 for over a year now and seeing no change to my levels or to my exhaustion! v frustrating 😩

@NooPuddles Definitely get your bloods checked. My iron was low for 12 years- I had no idea until 3 years ago and I've only just been able to get a (hopefully) effective treatment this last month. I'm now hoping to get back to running as soon as I can and feel like I used to pre-kids! 🤞

@mrsrobertsgeog I don’t unless they are too poorly to set it! Otherwise they just send me what to print etc

@CathyGodd I did it last year in an evening! It’s only 10 papers I think, my standardisation doesn’t start until Thursday but I’m sure it didn’t take me that long

@MissBSmith1995 Hi, did you get teacher release for the standardisation? It’s a bit confusing. My TL says I don’t need it but it begins at 12pm tmrw & I need to finish by Tues eve. He says it took him 1 1/2 days for P2, he isn’t a teacher. Without it doesn’t seem like enough time

Has anyone done the Edexcel marking before? The standardisation day, will I need to book that off work or is it an evening session?

@WhistleblowingT You shouldn’t be working on or FOR the strike day, direct whoever asked you to do this to websites such as Oak National Academy or bitesize and ask them to find relevant links for students themselves
