RAB had a spectacular day visiting the Tower of London. We learnt about the castle, looked at special crowns. We saw horses that the knights used to ride. There were shiny metal armours and helmets that the knights used to wear. @winston_way @ImmaculadaMatt2 @MsKimbar

RAB are getting better at representing numbers using a tens frame. We use one to one correspondence to count the number of objects. @winston_way @ImmaculadaMatt2 @MsKimbar

During this term, RAB have compared numbers. We picked two numbers, represented the numbers and compared, using key vocabulary such as more than, less than or equal to. @winston_way @ImmaculadaMatt2 @MsKimbar

@winston_way @ImmaculadaMatt2 @MsKimbar RAB enjoyed gardening 🪴 We used different gardening tools to plant seeds. We looked at the seeds to feel the texture, sprinkled the seeds onto the soil and poured soil over the seeds. We used the watering can to dampen the soil.

Reception went on a trip to South Park. We had a wonderful day, collecting acorns, chestnuts and leaves. We enjoyed talking about Autumn. When exploring the park, we were very happy to see ducks, geese and swans. Looking forward to tomorrow! @ImmaculadaMatt2 @winston_way

This week ROK is reading the book ‘We Are Going on a Leaf Hunt’ and we are writing initial sounds related to the illustration from the book. Children enjoy the whole activity - choosing the picture, cutting it, sticking on a colourful paper and writing the sound. @winston_way

Today after school is the Notting Hill Carnival in WWA. Children were preparing their costumes for the whole week. They did great!! We cannot wait to see them all dressed up 😀 @winston_way
