The best teachers are not the ones who provide you all the answers. They're the ones who get deeply excited by the questions they cannot answer, the ones who teach how to question and doubt the things you learn.

Don't just teach your children how to be successful, teach them how to respond when they are not successful, teach them how to handle failures and learn from their mistakes.

Things that Schools should teach: 🧠 • Being wrong is not a bad thing. • It's Okay to question what you have been taught. • Grades aren't as valuable as skills. • Understanding is more important than memorization. • Making mistakes is Okay. Learn from your mistakes.

Teachers, behavior management isn’t about being the rule enforcer (waiting to respond to misbehavior) but reinforcing routines, expectations, and creating conflict resolution strategies. This positively changes the classroom culture.

Very concerned that the new ACARA science syllabus wants year 5 students to learn about particle theory. Such an abstract concept that was not recommended by any science specialists I know.
