Continuing with our genre of instructions, we made our own fruit skewers today in Yew Class. We followed our activity sequence to cut and peel different pieces of fruit before adding them onto the skewer stick! Great independence! @elmtreeacademy #curiosity #unity #courage

Yew class have fully immersed themselves into our new Seeds of Writing programme, developed by @LisaElmTree at @elmtreeacademy We have been following lines using vehicles, tracing lines and shapes, following a maze and copying a range of patterns to help develop our control.

Yew class have been learning about road safety in preparation for their walk to Lidl. Today we walked around our car park, using the zebra crossings to cross safely. We used our checklist to look for different things as we walked around. @elmtreeacademy #excellence #curiosity

Open Theatre provided pupils @elmtreeacademy with an immersive theatre performance. It was fantastic to see all pupils fully engaged with different props and resources throughout! Lots of giggles and smiles all round. #curiosity #courage #unity #excellence @VicAcademies

As Mathematicians, we read who sank the boat and then experimented with different items that would sink or float based on our own predictions. It was great to see Yew class wanting to further test items from around our classroom! #curiosity #excellence #unity @elmtreeacademy
