The wonderfully imaginative 7C1 have been creating mythical creatures as home learning for their Harry Potter module. They've created such beautiful drawings, models and descriptions!

As there are still students signing up, I am extending the deadline for silver DofE to Friday 19th November. This is open to all year 10 and 11 students regardless of whether you completed bronze.

A reminder that the deadline for current year 9s to return their DofE enrolment slips to me is tomorrow. Those who have already signed up and paid - you can be thinking about what your activities might be: dofe.org/do/ideas/

All groups are home safe and sound! Thanks to all the wonderful students for your resilience and positive attitudes. And a huge thank you to the brilliant teachers who volunteered their time and talents to make sure these young people got the most out of their experience.

Our 3 groups have done so well! Everyone arrived in camp within half an hour of their expected time and are now setting up 🏕

I love DofE! I get to see our students being the brilliant human beings that they are. Today's weather was the worst I've had on expedition and the grit, teamwork and cheerfulness of this lot has been astounding 👏

The next navigation session for bronze DofE is on Tuesday straight after school in D71. Please bring your consent forms if you haven't already handed them in. Practice expedition is Saturday!

It was a pleasure to meet so many potential students and their parents this evening. The sensory writing proved very popular! Must have been something to do with the sweets they were given to write about 🍬
