Happy Friday 🌷. This week has been full of personal/career reflections that has made me feel happy and grateful. All set for a week of learning themed around Easter and our focus nursery rhyme. ❤️

Looking forward to a week of celebrating and learning all about Eid. A special time for lots of children within the school community who are getting ready to celebrate Eid with their family.

In our Stay and Play session today, all the children enjoyed having a story read to them by their grown up from home to mark @WorldBookDayUK. We talked about the importance reading stories and shared the 50 recommended reads. @booksfortopics.

A great morning for our 'weather WOW day' to build on our learning about weather from last week.

A day catching up on some reading for the NPQSENCO. This module has been one of my favourites to read. The value of working in partnership with different stakeholders is something I'm really passionate about and aligns with my EYFS teaching and leadership journey. @TeachFirst

Week 1 ✔️ A lovely first week back learning about weather. Next week we are looking forward to our 'weather WOW day', World Book Day and Science Week.

Rainbows talked about the theme of ‘Belonging’ and ‘This is my place’ to mark Children’s Mental Health week. We shared how we belong at school, home, community and our own interests in different activities. @Place2Be

Happy Half Term ❤️ A great end to the half term talking about Children's Mental Health Week and what 'Belonging' means to us. We also had an amazing lion dance performance to celebrate Chinese New Year.

Starting the week telling the story of the 'Great Race' to begin our learning about Chinese New Year. A snapshot of a few activities leading up to a big celebration on Friday. Looking forward to more discussions about how the festival is celebrated as the week goes on.

As PSHE lead, we have planned for and are looking forward to exploring the theme of 'belonging' through this art activity across school next week.

NSPCC number day was a great opportunity to raise money for charity as well as a brilliant day of engagement in focused maths activities from the children. #nspccnumberday

We are enjoying our Explorers WOW day! We have tasted different juices, used our sense of smell to guess different smells, explored the texture of cloud dough, made our own compass and drawn what we would carry in our own backpacks.
