Our PBIS Team has started a new incentive of Positive Referrals! Teachers fill out a Positive Referral letting our admin team know how great the student is, and an admin and student call home and celebrate the student’s great behavior. We love celebrating our Huskies!

I got to sit in a small group lesson in Mrs. Scruggs 3rd grade math class. Students were learning to solve multiplication word problems using an NNNee? method. Students were engaged and learned the skills they need to be successful in their multiplication skills!

Students in Mrs. Darden’s first grade class are reading the fairy tale, Little Red Riding Hood. They are working on inferencing, character traits, and story plot skills. The students are fully engaged and being challenged! #wildaboutlearning

It was a pleasure to spend time in Mrs. Liardon’s class with our 2nd grade Huskies! They worked on challenging engaging work in various station groups. Students were reading books, working on contractions, context clues and mapping out story plots. @KleinISD

Before becoming an Assistant Principal, I LOVED to teach Texas and U.S. History at the elementary and junior high level. I jumped at the opportunity to teach our entire 1st grade group today about the American Flag as part of Freedom Week!
