Today in Science we made a chemical reaction! We learnt that when we mixed vinegar with bicarbonate of soda, they combine and ‘fizz’ to produce a gas called carbon dioxide (CO²). @GoresbrookSc

Today in 3GG we discussed Andy Warhol’s portraits of celebrities, we explored the popular people he created artwork of then created our own. Can you identify any of these famous faces? @GoresbrookSc

3GG had so much fun this World Book Day! We enjoyed meeting the talented, Ross Baker, listening to him tell his story 'Troll's Amazing Day' and listening to his responses to some thought provoking questions. We all won best dressed certificates so well done parents and students!

On Saturday we went up London to see @TheLionKing at the @lyceumtheatre 🎭 . The girls absolutely loved it , we all did 🥰. It was amazing 🤩 what a show 😍👌🏻!! @GoresbrookSc @MissGordonGBS @MissVincentGBS @MrsScottGBS @MrMartinGBS . What shows have you seen ? 🥰

3GG students used all their concentration to publish their edited narratives they so expertly created this week. The children ensured that they used all the targets from their checklists to create a vivid picture in the minds of the reader. @GoresbrookSc

We created some fantastic, unique animals using fractions in Year 3 in recognition of Maths Week. The children had lots of fun creating their fraction animals and reinforced their fraction knowledge. @GoresbrookSc #mathsweek2022 @MrsScottGBS
