Today is #nationalteachingassistantsday, a big thank you to all the incredible support staff who do an amazing job. As a teacher who has worked with some brilliant TAs who without them wouldn’t be the teacher I am. Often undervalued and under appreciated and definitely underpaid

Spent the day marking my Year 4’s end of year assessments and came across this at the end of one of the papers. Things like this make it all worth it 🥰 so not ready to say goodbye to my first ever class 🥺

I'll never forget my first Ofsted lesson observation, as an NQT, when they said I couldn't rely on this level of energy to engage and enthuse my class as it would diminish as I got older. I hope they get to watch this, 20 years later. 🤔

@MissGould24 @WelliesIn This could be a really good research piece. You could look at the schemes that are offered and the stark contrast in how much details is used. Some use film clips in Y5&6. Also look at why parents object - religious views, creates curiosity, chn. losing their innocence, etc.

I am going into my final year of Primary Education in September which means the dreaded dissertation!😱 I am thinking of doing something around mindfulness but am also interested in the new RSE curriculum. Any thoughts/opinions would be appreciated! 🙏🏼
