#MonumentMonday This gravestone gives name, age, date of death and occupation of the deceased But also his 6 children who died before the age of 8 (indeed, 5 died in infancy). I could not read the rest of the stone but am pretty sure there are more St Michael’s , Alnwick

Wow! An envelope was left for me at the exhibition this week. Inside were some photos. These came with a lovely note to me from ‘Jane’ - from the woman who posed for the pictures 60 years ago (Artist: Harry Wingfield)
