My Year 6 class have come back from lockdown with a real Year 6 attitude and thinking they’re too cool for primary school now. I want to bring some fun and ‘childish’ activities back into the classroom so they can be like children again. Any good ideas? 💡💭

@MissK96_ @primaryteachew Spelling Ping Pong is a hit in my class. The children work with a partner taking turns choosing the word then saying one letter of a weekly spelling word at a time. The child who finishes the word gets a point. Vary how you play by some having the spelling list in front of them.

@MissK96_ My Y7 English classes love playing the pineapple spelling game! It’s when they just don’t care about getting it right or wrong and just like the game :)

My goodness.. there it is again! 😩Teachers don’t work at weekends.. work 9-3, 5 days a week.. schools should be open weekends!!! 🤯 I think you’ll find teachers work around the clock most days, including weekends! Sick of the constant teacher bashing! 😩😤🤬 #Lorraine

I am very nervous about Reception and Year 1 coming back to school in the first stages. I’d like to see MPs trying to get 5 year olds to socially distance.
