My first day completed as an NQT on supply 👩🏼‍🏫 I loved getting back into it and ready to continually develop my teaching whilst undertaking a masters 🙈💕

This week we’ve been looking at Jack and the Beanstalk 🌱 We used magic beans to help us form CVC words and add 2 numbers together. We also role played as characters from Jack and the Beanstalk to make our own book 📖

Goldilocks has been in our classroom this week, eating our porridge and making a big mess! We have had lots of fun tasting porridge and writing instructions 🥣

This week we’ve been Ethically Informed Citizens, looking at Chinese New Year and even danced like a dragon! 🐉 And to top the week off I passed my dissertation! 🍾

Week 1 of final placement ✅ and what a great week it’s been! We’ve been looking at Little Red Riding Hood and recreating the characters from the story. 2 well deserved postcards sent home by me this week! 🎨

Last night I officially completed my Level 2 Makaton ☺️ Looking forward to using it with children through my teaching.

This Christmas I have shared the spirit by sending shoeboxes to families and elderly people in need! The shoebox appeal is a great way to support those who are less fortunate than us 💕

This year, one of my biggest personal targets is to become more reflective and to be proud of my progress as a student teacher! So… this is my own teaching journal! PS. I’m not an artist but I’m obsessed with this!!💡📕✏️🎨📒📐 #studentteacher
