She holds the box and the rest of the cupcake out towards him, though not before grabbing the cherry and eating it, too.

Having swallowed her first bite, she responds;
“Hmm. Just a feeling, is all. I think she would appreciate your particular kind of talent.”
Whatever said talent might be, she neglects to elaborate on.
“This cupcake—homemade? It's not bad.”

Tomoya wishes he could say that it was intentional, but it was anything but practised. He'll let ramonu believe it is though for his pride's sake. They lean a little closer as ramonu bites the cupcake, tilting his head as he awaits her verdict on his baking skills.

In other words, the King needs an entertaining Jester.
She believes this was a practiced stunt, rather than a clumsy accident.
Following her words of totally-no-ill-intent, she studies the cupcake, before taking a small bite from it—savouring its taste.

There's... a bit of an awkward silence, until it's eventually broken by her free hand rising up in front of her mouth, while a soft chuckle escapes her.
“Thank you, Tomoya. Tell me, have you met Orfevre? I'm sure she would be delighted to make your acquaintance.”

[ There's a pause as her mind is beset by old, distant memories. Like a beast trying to break down a door. ]
“... It disgusts me.”

[ True enough, their stories don't fully line up. But lacking proper elaboration from both sides, it's hard to know exact details—not that it matters to Ramonu. ]
“I merely wish things didn't have to end up with violence. Whether he deserved it or not... he looked so small.”

She gives him a brief, cautious glance, before looking at the box again. With no reason to delay further, she takes hold of the crank—turning it slowly at first—before picking up the pace as the motion becomes familiar.

[ It's not surprising to see the aftermath on her hand in plain view. Kris isn't one to shy away from the result of her actions.
Moments later, she speaks up again. ]
“Did he hurt you anywhere else?”

[ She lets out a soft chuckle as she accepts the unwrapped gifts, briefly inspecting the paints and their colours before setting it aside. ]
“That's all right, Kris. I've torn through my fair share of paper already...—Thank you. Would you like to model for me sometime?”

[Her scabbed hand wasn't hidden in any capacity. She paid it no mind, having fixed herself up. How odd that the goods to create art are held in the same hand that could have broken a man.]

The hand crank definitely has her attention.
