Rome Day 3 🇮🇹 We visited the Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano, the first basilica in Rome, where students had the opportunity to join in Mass. The day continued at the Colosseum, St Peter in Chains, the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, finishing with a well earned gelato.

Rome Day 2 🇮🇹 A big day in Vatican City for our Year 8 students, beginning with the Vatican Museums and St Peter’s Basilica. Congratulations to those who took on the challenge of climbing to the top of the dome! We finished the day enjoying ice cream at the Trevi Fountain

Rome Day 1 🇮🇹 A big travel day for our Year 8 Newman pilgrims as we journeyed to Rome. After arriving, we visited St Mary Major (Santa Maria Maggiore) before a special opportunity to see Pope Francis. We finished the day with a well earned tea time and some rest.

May #OurLadyOfLourdes, whom we celebrate today, accompany you with a mother’s care, intercede for you before God, and obtain graces to sustain you on your journey. We entrust to her all those who are ill, whom we remember with particular affection on this World Day of the Sick. #PrayTogether
