In nursery, reception and year 2 we’ve planted some potatoes. We can’t wait to watch them grow and see which class gets the most potatoes.

In year two we are learning about how to grow plants and what makes them grow and how to take care of them. We planted sunflower seeds and over the coming weeks will watch them grow and document their process. #PinehurstScience @PinehurstP @MissMitchell23

Last Friday our year 2 children went to Crosby beach to see Antony Gormley sculptures. While there they brought some our litter pickers and had a clean up around the area. They really enjoyed taking part to make our world cleaner.

Spain, Brazil, Australia, and France competed in the @PinehurstP Olympics! Year 2 put their skills from this term into action in a fun and energetic competition. It was such a joy to teach them—well done everyone and a big congratulations to our winners! 🥇
