This week we finished up one of my absolute FAVORITE things we do all year - our novel study on The One and Only Ivan! We loved meeting all the characters and discovering @kaaauthor’s amazing storytelling. I was so amazed at their connections and thoughtful responses!! ❤️🦍🐕🐘

My students have worked SO hard for the past two weeks researching and creating a model of a biome. They were so excited yesterday to share their work with other classes!! I am so proud of them and loved seeing their smiles as they presented their creations😊 #wearewayne

Time and time again Indiana has shown that it does NOT care about its over 1 million public school students. Everything I have seen about the impending downfall of public education is right in front of us. How much more does Indiana have to do before we believe them?
