We loved listening to Room on the Broom today in nursery 🧹 We used play dough to make wands, enjoyed exploring our potion tuff tray and collaging a witch’s hat 🧙‍♀️ @MabLanePri @MrsSnapeMLP

✨ Magic, glittery foam ✨ Messy sensory play provides a hands on way for children to learn through their senses as well stimulating their creativity, improving motor skills and supporting their emotional well being ✨@MabLanePri @MrsEllisMLP

Using dancing scarves promotes physical development by improving co ordination, focus and memory. Today we used the scarves for music tempo 🎶 @MabLanePri @MabLaneMusic

Water play is definitely one of our favourites in Nursery 💦 Not only is it fun, it helps develop physical and social skills through sensory exploration whilst building fine and gross motor skills 🌟 @MabLanePri

As part of #WorldMentalHealthDay Nursery enjoyed play dough and collage whilst talking about what makes them happy 💛 💛 💛 @MabLanePri @MrsEllisMLP

We loved our gymnastics session with @GymfinityKids. Fantastic balancing, jumping and listening carefully to instructions. Well done nursery 🌟 @MabLanePri @MabLanePE

“I’m not a mast for a silly old flag” Practising cutting with loop scissors to make a Stickman flag. We talked about how to use our scissors safely before using them to cut ✂️ @MabLanePri

“I’m Stickman, I’m Stickman, I’m Stickman. That’s me!” Nursery loved listening to Stickman and joining in with repeated lines in the story 📕 We collected sticks from outside and created our very own Stick man 🍂 @MabLanePri @MabLaneEnglish

Today in nursery the gruffalo needed our help! We had to put the numbers in the correct order so he could pass through the deep dark woods! We also used things we might find in the woods to make different amounts within 10 @MabLanePri @MrsEllisMLP
