Curious - how many days/time ‘off timetable’ do you get near to Christmas?

Years in, but this last week never gets any easier

Some non-chron writing with my year 5s. Inspired by the novel ‘The Explorer’ which is based in the Amazon Rainforest. Lots of research and trust with their creativity; I left them to it and this is what I got🥹☺️ EAL, a select mute and a boy who lacks confidence - all boys too!

@Sorare_SamOl I’m 6yrs into the job, this is my first year remaining in the same year; I usually manage to complete planning of 2hr science, 2hr Topic and 5hrs of English in my 3hr PPA as it’s amending last years. No marking taken home. If I’m planning from scratch, it can take up to 6hrs…
