If you have parents who are going on hospice care I strongly recommend you be as present as possible with appointments and managing medications. I will spare you the stories (for my own sake) but we learned this the hard way when my sister and I helped my mother through to the arms of God. It was unimaginably hard but would have been MUCH worse for my mother if we had merely trusted doctors and hospice workers to do the best thing for her. Much, much worse. In the end, no one loves them like you do.
