Excess deaths are a global problem and I would put money on it that the strikes are a minimal, if any, contributor. There are far more serious structural issues in the NHS that are killing people.

@Skully48109675 Love this 💙💙Critical Care Outreach (CCO) = advanced skills & expertise to the bedside of patients who need it -changing the trajectory for that patient. Add prescribing skills = Boom! Best thing, the patient has no idea of the harm you've protected them from. I hope they're OK

Prescribed as a nurse for the first time for a deteriorating patient today. It felt great. It reminded me why we work so hard and continue educating ourselves. Chuffed.

Any suggestions for what to use as a draught excluder when naughty cockapoos (quite reasonably) conclude that a fabric cylinder with polyester stuffing is fair game as a toy to be disembowelled? Dilemma modelled here by young Bertie.
