Man United have always been experts at backing out of deals. Yan Diomande was a genuine prospect for United. Amorim and Vivel wanted him because of his electric pace and the potential they saw in him. Amorim had a clear vision for how he’d fit into the squad. But since Amorim left in January, United’s interest has seemingly disappeared. Now PSG and Liverpool are being linked with him. He’s worth the €100m, go spend the money and bring him to Old Trafford. But no, our board somehow always finds a way to mess up the transfer window. Apparently, strengthening the left wing is no longer a priority. 🙃

Amad Diallo’s goal yesterday was a reminder of just how electric he looked under Amorim. Their connection was obvious, and as Amorim is at Milan, I wouldn’t be surprised if he tries to bring him along.

Amad excelled at Afcon for Ivory Coast under Emerse Faé and is still excelling at the World Cup, playing as a Right winger in the 433 system. But I’m supposed to believe he’s not good enough and lost his form because he’s not excelling under Michael Carrick who plays DNA football and utilizes the 4231 system? FIFA released a statement and footage claiming the play leading to Switzerland’s penalty was onside.
But here’s my question: if you already had clear footage proving it was onside, why wasn’t it shown to fans during the match?
What’s the point of releasing it after the game when the controversy has already exploded? VAR is supposed to bring transparency in real time, not hours later.
And if fans never saw the evidence when the decision was made, how are we supposed to blindly trust footage released after the match? What if people start questioning its authenticity?
Transparency during the game matters. That’s literally what VAR was introduced for.

Rúben Amorim at AC Milan would be a great appointment.
He would finally inherit a squad that better suits his preferred system. Milan have several technically gifted and creative players who can thrive under his tactical structure.
Amorim has already shown at Sporting and United that he possesses a clear vision and strong tactical identity. With the right backing, he could restore AC Milan to the top level and make the Rossoneri great again.

For 9 months, United fans were told Elliot Anderson was the priority. We heard the stories and the briefs. Now suddenly we’re supposed to believe Alex Scott is the answer? The board does this every summer. They sell fans a dream and They’re setting Carrick up to fail This is exactly why Amorim called them out. The issue was never just about the manager, it’s the board that refuses to properly back them. Yet somehow the blame always lands on Amorim when results aren’t consistent because he has no players. We got fooled into thinking an elite midfielder was coming.
