Added a ‘challenge us’ card to our classroom door so that visitors to our classroom can ask the children about their learning (previous and current topics!) We are adding one to the external door too so that parents can talk to their children about their learning at home!

Our new ‘we love to read’ display reflects our enjoyment for books and story time in our class! We each shared a favourite book we love to read at school or at home. Some children even shared a new book they have recently discovered! 📚🐛@GarstonReads @GarstonCE

Last week, we researched and made dinosaur fossils in preparation for our literacy unit on instructions this week. Safe to say that Year 2 are really enjoying learning about dinosaurs and palaeontologists!

I have just bought my fossil loving baby the cutest doll for her birthday on Monday. I think she is going to adore it. I am lucky my children are not in any hurry to grow up and still adore dolls and toys and ‘playing.’
