I don’t know if I’m the only ECT to think this, but training during COVID no where near prepared me for my ECT year. I feel like there were so many jobs that were skipped and missed last year that I’ve now got 100x more things to do. It’s tough.

One of my targets from my PGCE was to gain more experience in contacting parents, now I can’t get enough of it. Looking for any excuse to give a call at the end of the day… found it’s making such a difference too!
