Two kids were doing each other’s hair today and I told them to put the brushes away immediately and one of them said- ‘Sir gets triggered because he’s bald’ and now I’m too scared to tell kids off for doing their hair. #edutwitter

@stammer_teacher I’ll always be in favour of following a policy down to the T to achieve consistency, too. So I do even when I don’t agree with them (for things like this) which makes me sad. Are leaders ever going to question if these policies we’re all having to follow are actually a good idea?

@stammer_teacher I’m always fascinated by people defending detentions for things like this (white socks instead of black socks… Like really????) I absolutely love teaching, but it’s things like this that make me feel really sad about the standard UK education system.

@RishiSunak It is never dogs that are the problem, it is their owners. Do something about illegal dog breeding, dog fighting etc. HELP the dogs. Choose a perhaps more difficult but kind option, instead of this easy and heartless one.

It’s clear the American XL Bully dog is a danger to our communities. I’ve ordered urgent work to define and ban this breed so we can end these violent attacks and keep people safe.
