To the male gamers out there - would you give up video games if a potential romantic partner wanted you to? Saw a tweet going around from a woman who said ladies find it disgusting when men game and it’s a major turn off as a partner.

@LikeToBeBossy The charm is from the Pokémon but if you enjoyed Dragon Quest Builders you’ll probably enjoy this too. I absolutely adore DQ:B, and it took me a little bit to get into Pokopia but once I got into it I was hooked!

In life threatening cases it’s ok, no one disputes this In rape cases I’m not in support of this because I actually believe the baby will bring the mother so much joy that her trauma and suffering will improve. Before my daughter was born I was miserable and didn’t care if I died. I asked God for a near death experience so I would want to live. Instead I was pregnant within a month. After she was born I had a reason to live.. I had to be ok because it wasn’t about me. And I had severe trauma. I believe an abortion will only cause them more pain, one day they will wonder who that baby would have been and mourn.

This is basically shouting “don’t have sex because you risk death due to pregnancy or death due to abortion”. Yet men aren’t ready for that conversation.

If you are 23 - 28 and you feel you have not made it financially, Do this. leave your girlfriend and become single. No football, sleep 5hrs max daily. Grind for 1 year with no distractions. When you’re back, the football and younger girls will be there. You cannot finish them.

@orbalology Early 30’s here. I don’t regret my time with my gaming whatsoever. If there’s anything I regret, it would be putting my career before myself which only caused my health to decline, being taken advantage of and not understanding work boundaries until it was too late.

35 here & NO REGRETS w/ the time I've spent gaming. If anything, there are times I regret locking it in on academia, from HS up to my PhD. But video games? No regrets. A happy life is a balanced one. Continue to game in your 20s &beyond, your 30s will be some of your best years.

@orbalology I was so saddened to see that not only you (I saw one of the bikini image and even a video) but other female creators have been targeted. It’s awful. And they’re blamed because they decided to post a photo online. Doesn’t mean they give consent for it to be altered.

I've been making videos about video games for collectors & those with similar gaming tastes as a hobby for years. I don't do it for "male attention" or whatever. I should not be told what I should or shouldn't post on my account. All this misplaced blame is ridiculous.
