Xbox Wayfinders, Last week, we released an update to fix issues with textures and achievements. Some players have reported the game randomly hanging and our crew is actively working to resolve this asap. As soon as we have more information, we’ll share it here! Thank you for your patience.

We will have an update at 12:30AM PT (7:30AM UTC) on October 3 and last approximately 6 hours. It includes bug fixes for UI, various settings, and more to help make your welcome into Solisium an even smoother experience. This update is not yet available on Xbox. We will post in our Official Xbox Club as soon as it is available to download. Check out the full release notes broken down by platform below. All Platforms: - Boss Effects: Mechanic markers should now appear more reliably under high visual effect counts. - UI: Guild Status will no longer have an erroneous 'Writer:#' appended to the text. - UI: Congratulatory Package will no longer remain visible on the shop UI after it has been claimed. - UI: Fixed controller D-pad becoming unresponsive after equipping an outfit in the Mirror Boutique. - UI: Fixed controller navigation in the Guild menu when searching for a guild. - Settings: When privacy settings restrict friend requests, these requests will no longer appear when relaunching the game. - Localization: Applied latest localization updates, including the correction of several untranslated strings in game text and voiceover. Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 (Console Only): - Friend Requests: Requests can now be accepted if the other player is offline or in another world area. Xbox Series X|S: - Graphics: Increased resolution of world map. Settings: Fixed behavior of some UGC settings related to Guilds. - Settings: Players with restricted privacy settings will no longer see blank Whisper chats from blocked players. PlayStation 5: - Graphics: Optimizations to reduce screen tearing issues.

There will be an update at 1am PT, 8am UTC. We expect 6 hours of downtime with this update. Issues being resolved are: *All Platforms* - Fixed the issue of the non-interactable Amitoi Expedition Map. Amitoi can now be sent on missions. - Lucent no longer appears to need to be claimed in Storage Chest. Lucent balances are automatically updated. - Corrected localization at the bottom of the full screen Map to match the selected language. - When navigating to the Amitoi menu prior to obtaining an Amitoi, the menu text was not translated. Translations are now applied to fix this issue. *PS5 Only* - Resolved an issue causing no UI indication to be shown when matchmaking in the Arena menu *PC Only* - Resolved screen flickering on higher-end Nvidia GPU's running the latest Game Ready drivers. *Misc* - Server networking updates

With Palworld quickly approaching the 1-month mark, it's interesting to look back at my own thoughts for launch. In May of 2023, I was convinced that Palworld could break the 50,000 player mark. Anything above that seemed unobtainable though, and I certainly never expected it to reach into the millions. It has taken years to get to this point, and Palworld only really begins from here. Everyone is working hard to fix the issues and prepare new content and Pals. Some of you may have had your fun over the last 3 weeks and found yourself putting the game down. That is fine. This emerging "Palworld has lost X% of its player base" discourse is lazy, but it's probably also a good time to step in and reassure those of you capable of reading past a headline that it is fine to take breaks from games. You don't need to feel bad about that. Palworld, like many games before it, isn't in a position to pump out massive amounts of new content on a weekly basis. New content will come, and it's going to be awesome, but these things take a little bit of time. There are so many amazing games out there to play; you don't need to feel guilty about hopping from game to game. If you are still playing Palworld, we love you. If you're no longer playing Palworld, we still love you, and we hope you'll come back for round 2 when you're ready. Play lots of games, try different genres, and frequently flick through indie libraries to find hidden gems.

@XboxSupport Hello, does anyone know in terms of clouds saves for baulders gate 3 if these will be restored with whatever fix ends up happening? Just lost 50+ hours and don’t want to start again if there’s a chance they can be restored from the cloud

@larianstudios can you make cross save default as on for Xbox, considering we know the issue, it’s lost 50+ hours because everytime you reboot the game it goes to off and new players shouldn’t have to turn it on
