I’m exhausted and this probably isn’t making sense but we are so lucky to have the system we do have and even then it needs way more support and resourcing.

Bloody lucky to have resources like Starship eh. The kindest nurses and doctors and staff have tended to my oldest today. Every single one of them has gone out of their way to talk to him, help him understand, bribe him and care for him. The care they have shown our whaanau too

Kicked off my ‘Guyliner and Glitter’ course this term by having students design face paint to represent them. We will spend the term learning about different pigments, the chemistry of different cosmetics, and even making our own.
