So now we see the value of education. £1000, before tax, and a below inflation increase for next year of 4.5%. Not fully funded. Less than fire service, doctors, railway workers and the offer to teachers in Wales and Scotland. That’s how little they value education.

Insulting offer from the government. Honestly disgusting

If Ofsted inspects a school that is forced to teach kids who turn up hungry, and has had its funding so viciously cut that it can barely afford a pack of pencils, that is NOT a failing school. That is a failing government.

When teachers who love teaching and are extremely good at it would rather do anything other than teach, including be unemployed, you know the ppl running the education system in that country have got things very, very wrong.

Last two weeks of term, but also two weeks without my TA as she’s on jury service… let’s see how this goes!

I’ve tried so many things to try and get effort and drive out of my children… They honestly don’t care about presentation/spelling/amount of work… please help 😭😭 this is one of my children’s book… they had this book for ONE lesson… and this has happened already 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🫠

I’ll take that. 1st Ofsted, 1st year as Phonics/lks2 lead The overall result wasn’t what we’d hoped, but we have already addressed most of our development points 👍🏼 it was a tough one with 4 inspectors, 2 days and reading/phonics, PE, Geography, science and maths deep dives 😳😬
