I had a chance to meet up with my old boss Adam last night since he is in Israel right now. I love catching up with old friends, don't you?

Had a great weekend! Dinner at a friend of Mo and Gila's. The family was Sephardic, so it was interesting seeing their Shabbat traditions.

Went to the art fair in Tel Aviv on Friday, which was a blast. So much great stuff! I could have spent all of my money right there!

Classes today were great. I went shopping afterwards and got shoes, earrings, bath products and presents. Just had Torah reading class...

which was lovely... I think we're going to take a group trip to a synagogue on Wed. morning to hear the portion that we are learning. Cool!

I'm pretty exhausted, even though it's only 10pm here. So, I'm headed off to bed. Pleasent dreams all!

So, today is a lovely day. I'm trying to decide between staying in Jerusalem for my last weekend vs. going to Tel Aviv. Decisions decisions.

Just had my last papercutting class, so now I'm a professional! Just one more week in Israel. : ( I'm going to squeeze in as much as I can!

Tomorrow night is my second scribal arts class. We're learning to write with a quill and ink on calf hide, which is used for Torah scrolls.

We had a women's panel lunch discussion today with three of the program teachers. It was very interesting...

One of the teachers made a great point that modesty is not just about how much skin your clothes cover; it's also about how much they cost.

Oh yeah, went to an art fair today in my neighborhood. Cute stuff. I got this white cotton tie shrug. Go out and support an Israeli artist!

I am totally exhausted!!!! I don't know how I made it through high school being in class all day. I have a break and then 2 classes 2nite...

I was at the beach in Tel Aviv on Friday. The water was warm and clear and the sand was soft... highly recommend Tel Aviv beaches...

Also got to hang out with my friend Omri on Friday. I met him 2.5 years ago on my first birthright trip. Staying in touch with friends...

Went on a really cool free Bauhaus walking tour in Tel Aviv on Saturday. The tour was in English, and the guide was great!!! Very hot though

Great class today. Watched "Eyes Wide Open" (movie about American Jews visiting Israel) and had a thoughtful discussion afterwards.

Starting to get packed today. Whew! So many gifts and stuff, and I still need to mail my postcards!!! I'll make it though. 2 more days...
