May is Mental Health Awareness Month it’s kind of towards the end of May but I’m still gonna put a post up, but since I’ve been 11 years old I’ve struggled with my mental health. There is a Stigma in this world that Men are weak if they talk about their mental health and I want to make sure that Men understand we aren’t just Men, we are humans first, and if you needa talk to someone, you do it. Growing up I was in foster care and abused in the system for the 3/6 years when I was in it, both my biological parents were drug addicts and had their own struggles, I lost my step father when I was 16, and so much other things that I feel would mentally destroy people. I’ve never used Drugs or Alcohol to suppress my emotions because I never wanted to end up in a place like my parents are/were, and that’s one good quality about myself. Growing up I used the Gaming and Sports Community as a way to suppress my mental health and it helped so much at the time I’ve met so many amazing people, amazing people to the point where I can go months without talking to them and they’d still answer my messages within minutes. I’m going to keep it real Over the past 10 months my life has been hell, I had a girlfriend that was an amazing girl that lost her father 2 months into me and her talking and I tried to be there for her but couldn’t find a way to because when mine passed I truly battled that by myself and i emotionally couldn’t connect with her the way I wanted too. weeks later I then had a court order thrown on me and I couldn’t talk to my family or be near them for 6 months, I was homeless, couldn’t talk to my little brother who is genuinely my life line, and all this other stuff. Back in November I contemplated suicide but my girlfriend at the time battled for me and saved my life, she is my Angel on Earth, Months went on and things got better but I ended up ruining that relationship with her because I had a breakdown and exploded like a nuke on her, I waited a month and i apologized to her which was a little too long and I thought things would get better and her and I would work things out but I was wrong, so for the past month and a half it’s been a hard ride, I haven’t contemplated again or nothing like that I know life moves on now and i understand that. I never got the concept of genuine love growing up so this was my first true love experience I’d like to say and clear that out the way. I always thought love was a corny concept because i thought like an immature person as you guys see how retarded I used to act on Twitter/X with just bullshitting around with females, but I was wrong it is one of the most beautiful things possible, and I’ve been getting closer and praying to God that he guides me and her back together and just heals me as a person. For anyone I was bitter to in this community over the years I’d like to apologize, I am a human and I make mistakes and I’m going to fix myself and make myself a better person. For the people that have been here from the beginning or any part of my life in this community, I appreciate, love, and pray for all of you and hope you are doing good. For anyone that is struggling and needs or wants to talk to someone, I am one DM away and will listen to you and even give you my personal phone number if you’d ever wanna call.
