Elected and re-elected 8 times to serve constituents. Since he was in his mid-20's. Run by how many Canadian federal MPs ever serve as cabinet ministers before they even turn 40 ... Haters don't even try to think before they spew.

Pierre Poilievre won the CPC leadership by criticizing politicians of the Liberal party for billing in politics for the money. Kind of a precursor to the Trump idea of cleaning out the swamp. Meanwhile Pierre the swamp master himself. 22 years if achieving nothing.

Unsurprisingly, the Liberal candidate immediately (or conveniently) commissioned a mass robo-call with a message along the lines of "You MUST come back and vote Liberal as a Liberal-Conservative split will allow the CAQ to come through the middle and win!" After all the votes were counted, what were the final results?: PLQ - 51% PCQ - 22% QS - 8.5% CAQ - 5.9% (!) Others - ~12% Turnout: 47.5% By the way, don't gush too much about the Liberal result. They got 74% support in 2018 and 92% (!) support in 2014. In fact, it was the lowest support for the Liberals since 1989 when the long-defunct Equality Party defeated them. So if Mainstreet was to be believed, the CAQ fell from 21 percent to 5.9 percent in mere days. And, of course, the CAQ won a majority government province-wide for the second-straight time so "faltering fortunes of the governing party" cannot be used as an explanation either. There you have it.

Prass' perceived main opponent was the PCQ's Bonnie Feigenbaum, a former city councilor in Hampstead and who worked for a few years in the constituency office of federal Liberal MP Anthony Housefather. That Mainstreet VP who heads up their QC operation? Also a long-time Hampstead resident. Anyway, Mainstreet put out the following message on social media on September 23, 2022, 12 days before the provincial election and just before the start of Advance Polls. Right there the reddest of the reddest of red flags should be raised. The "separatist" (as oft-perceived in the riding area) CAQ at 21% !!!!! To put into perspective, in the three previous elections that the CAQ existed for, their e-day support was 6.4%, 2.45%, and 7.37%. The predecessor ADQ, which folded into CAQ, never had performed better than in the low 4-percent. There was never any plausible explanation for the 21 percent number. You won't get one now either since Mainstreet long removed that link mentioned in the post.

Mainstreet is a dubious polling firm to begin with. Notwithstanding, completely non-credible in QC. Let's start right from the top that their top guy in the QC operation is a former Vice-President of the (federal) Liberal Party (Quebec) and self-touts himself as an "organizer" (at least in the past) for both the Federal and Quebec Liberal Party (clip from is FB page). Now to go further 🧵

“Article” that excluded that only 28 out of over 100 members of the association participated and a chunk of those were Canadian with large holdings in Canadian real estate.
Fun Tom 🇨🇦 💂@funtomvids

🟥 Dear right-wing influencers and Poilievre-Conservatives, You can try to desperately misinform Canadians all you want about Prime Minister Carney and his Liberal team's efforts, successes and PROGRESS. But... The truth will always emerge, and embarrass you. 😌
