My friends please read this…. Late last year my brother woke up with a pain in his testacles and thought he’d injured himself while sleeping and didn’t think much more about it. The pain would come and go and it wasn’t until he was in the office, a number of days later, that the pain got so bad he couldn’t sit down, He went to the hospital and was informed he had testicular cancer and it had spread to a lung and spine. My brother then went through intensive chemotherapy that absolutely floored him. His battle has been really difficult but he appears to have won his fight against cancer. There’s still a long way to go but the prognosis, at this moment, is more positive. The after effects of his treatment are awful and he’s on a lot of medication. My brother is a fighter and since his diagnosis his mission has been to tell everyone to check themselves. He ranted at my two sons as well when we visited him last week. If you feel that something isn’t right please get to your GP as soon as possible. Early detection is key. DO NOT IGNORE SOMETHING THAT DOESN’T FEEL RIGHT. GET IT CHECKED OUT. #FuckCancer

@MisterMcCormack Can I say thanks to whoever put the Linwood reference in SWTD? He died earlier this year but my Grandad worked there. To my knowledge he was TGWU shop steward/convenor at the time. It meant a lot to me to see the reference at launch, it means more now. Cheers.

Anyone who knows me well will know this is sore one. A monumental influence on me ever since i snuck out of bed and watched Eraserhead on the telly at the age of about 10. What dark, mysterious and beautiful worlds he dreamed. A fucking powerhouse of creativity. #davidlynch

@EwenDCameron Enjoyed that one as well as longlegs and oddity. You want a good horror, I recommend a French film that came out this year called ‘Mads’. Its on Shudder, get it watched.

@HildebrandtGreg Rest in peace Mr. Hildebrandt. His art was a big inspiration in my early career. A master at his craft. Condolences.

The light has gone out in my life. At 12:36 pm yesterday afternoon the love of my life, my best friend and soulmate passed away. Greg was 85 years young. He was the sweetest man I ever knew. We worked together for 45 years. We lived together for 33 of those years. We had a beautiful life we were blessed. Greg has been fighting for 5 months to regain his ability to breathe after a serious side effect of a heart medication. He fought very hard to win this battle but in the end he was just too weak. He passed away peacefully in my arms. He knew he was safe and he was loved and he will be missed terribly. I cannot imagine my life without him. He was my guy, yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever. You are my heart and it is broken!
