About a month in this is how the swing looks between character performance for upper ranks in Asia, the strongest region worldwide. Kage, Lau and Blaze (?! 🌭) have the highest win percentages! With Lion, Kage & Blaze top three improved after the new patch. #VirtuAnalytics

@IFixMachine When you are in a controlled environment you can easily connect these. There's one when you block Shun's 1KK and back burning hammer is available. But between doing what you wanna do and do it in the heat of a fight, it's another matter. The input is complex and takes time.

I understand why Ingrid’s original design needed an update (it was quite close to other existing styles), but I’m not fully convinced by the new direction in Street Fighter 6.
It’s not about it being “different,” but more about how some elements come together.
The face feels a bit unbalanced: very large, rounded eyes, highly arched eyebrows, and a mouth placed quite close to the nose. Combined with the strong symmetry, it creates a slightly uncanny effect, and gives her a much younger “baby face” appearance that may not align with the character’s identity.
The hat is also an interesting choice, but it ends up covering a lot of the hair, which could have helped define her silhouette and personality more clearly.
What’s interesting is that a lighter touch might have been enough:
a small update to the hairstyle (even something like braids), along with a few modern adjustments, could have preserved more of her original charm while still refreshing the design.
The outfit itself has some creative ideas, although certain elements, like the leggings, feel a bit disconnected from the overall look, giving off a slightly mixed visual impression, almost reminiscent of something like Katamari Damacy in terms of vibe.
Considering how unusual her history is within the franchise, and how long it took for her to be properly introduced in a mainline title, this feels like a missed opportunity for a stronger and more representative debut.

In version 1.10, cancelling Defensive Move is less safe. Previously, players can shorten a "failed" evade by 60% (25f to 10f). Latest version of game shortens a "failed" evade by ~50%.
In short, more strikes are now viable to punish failed evade attempts. Attacks with circular properties are now more valuable/useful in punishing evaders. Which, for all intended purposes, that was what attacks with circular properties is supposed to do. Before 1.10, there were more situations to evade-cancel and successfully defend against circular attacks...for better or for worse!
No video that I am aware of comparing the before and after version of Defensive Move property change.
Chart I made is accurate I think. Maybe off by a frame or so. 🙇

Huuuge patch coming. I'm gonna lab so much stuff. A bit bummed by wolf lacks of buffs. But the stagger removed from the game is a thing i asked for so long. I'm really glad the game is going in that direction.
