I know I'll get heat for this, but I don't get why there's drama over Black people cosplaying white characters or white people cosplaying Black characters. It should be about your love for the character. People always make minor changes to cosplays—that's just how cosplay works. It feels more like you're trying to stir hate between races for your impression-farming gig. This is a non-issue.

This is Mack. Mack is a racist POS who doesn’t understand that it’s cos-PLAY. Meaning that they’re not the character IRL. At the end of the day, I’d rather see a black person cosplay a character with lighter skin versus a white person blackfacing to cosplay a black character
