@Kevin_Maguire I feel as though those who have planned ahead are being penalised. Whilst I support those in need I feel that a lot of pensioners who don’t qualify for pension credit by a very small amount of income really need this.

Labour in opposition would’ve hammered the Conservatives for doing this. Reeves extending means testing by ending winter fuel payment for those not in receipt of pension credit or other benefits. Great start. Not.

Well I was late for work with @northernassist this morning but I had a great night at @peterkay_co_uk. Only to find that you’ve cancelled 2 trains to Blackpool North before a rail replacement bus at 00:20 @MayorofGM I thought this was all sorted now?🙈

@northernassist @peterkay_co_uk @MayorofGM Piccadilly to Horwich Parkway. Ended up with replacement bus that didn’t get to Horwich until 1:30am. I’m back on the train at 7:30 this morning. You work out the sleep deprivation! And don’t say I can claim compensation- it’s about the inconvenience and lack of dependability.
