She made her film debut in the comedy film Animal House (1978), which was soon followed by a small role in Woody Allen's romantic comedy-drama Manhattan (1979) and a co-lead role in Philip Kaufman's coming-of-age film The Wanderers (1979), before co-starring opposite Al Pacino in William Friedkin's crime thriller Cruising (1980). Allen's critical and commercial breakthrough came when she portrayed Marion Ravenwood opposite Harrison Ford in Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), for which she won the Saturn Award for Best Actress. She later co-starred in Shoot the Moon (1982), Starman (1984), for which she was again nominated for the Saturn Award for Best Actress, and Scrooged (1988). Allen has also received recognition for her work in The Glass Menagerie (1987), Year by the Sea (2016), and Colewell (2019). He would later reprise that role for the sequel Back to the Future Part II (1989). Then after a small role in the science fiction horror film Critters (1986), he landed starring roles in several television films. In the Australian film Dead Calm (1989), a performance that earned him a nomination for the Chicago Film Critics Association Award for Most Promising Actor. He starred as the main antagonist Caledon Hockley in the epic film Titanic (1997), for which he and the rest of the ensemble cast was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award. Zane's other film roles include Kit Walker / The Phantom in the superhero film THE PHANTOM (1996), Lieutenant Val Kozlowski in Memphis Belle (1990), The Collector in Demon Knight (1995), Curtis Zampf in The Believer (2001), and Richard Miller in the Sniper film series. Connecticut native Ron Garney has worked on many comic books including; JLA, The Amazing Spider-Man, Daredevil, Ghost Rider volume 3, Wolverine, Captain America, X-Men, Silver Surfer and Hulk. He has also written for Hulk in collaboration with Jerry Ordway. Garney's late 2000s projects include Skaar: Son of Hulk and Wolverine: Weapon X. Garney worked as the Costume illustrator on the 2007 Will Smith film I Am Legend, and the 2010 Nicolas Cage fantasy film, The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Since 2021, Garney has collaborated with Keanu Reeves on BRZRKR, with the first issue selling over 615,000 copies. Jonathan Hickman is a comic book writer and artist, best known for his creator-owned series The Nightly News, The Manhattan Projects and East of West, as well as his lengthy stints as a writer on Marvel's Fantastic Four, The Avengers and The New Avengers. Hickman's other notable work at Marvel includes the S.H.I.E.L.D. limited series, the creation of the Fantastic Four spin-off title FF, as well as two crossover limited series, Infinity and Secret Wars, both of which acted as centerpieces for the eponymous company-wide crossover storylines. Between 2019 and 2021, Hickman spearheaded the "Dawn of X", a relaunch of various X-Men-related titles for which he provided the core storyline and concepts. This relaunch began the Krakoan Age of which Hickman was the early main architect. This relaunch began with the dual comic book miniseries House of X and Powers of X written by Hickman. In 2023, Hickman also helped spearhead the relaunch of the Ultimate Universe, kicked off with the four-issue miniseries Ultimate Invasion written by Hickman, and since 2024, he is writing a rebooted Ultimate Spider-Man. A Los Angeles native, Phil is a graduate of Harvard-Westlake School, Yale University and The Groundlings Theater and is perhaps best known as one of the original cast members of Mad TV (1995) and as Marvin in Pulp Fiction (1994). He was one of the original featured cast members on the sketch comedy television series Mad TV, where he stayed for five seasons. His voice acting roles in animated series include the Sam B of Dead Island as well as title character of Samurai Jack, both John Stewart / Green Lantern and Virgil Hawkins / Static in the DC Animated Universe (across the series Static Shock, Justice League, and Justice League Unlimited), Hermes Conrad in Futurama, Bolbi Stroganofsky in The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Carver Descartes in The Weekenders, Ollie Williams and Judge Dignified Q. Melanie was born on December 15, 1948, in New Haven, Connecticut , and attended West Haven High School. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts from Adelphi University. Chartoff first became famous for her comedy work on the ABC series Fridays (1980–1982), and in the 1990s Fox sitcom Parker Lewis Can't Lose . From 1991 to 2008, Chartoff voiced Didi Pickles and her mother Grandma Minka on the Nickelodeon series Rugrats, for which she won a Daytime Emmy. Law (1986), The X-Files (1993), and The Commish (1991), and appeared in many TV Movies including An American Story (1992) and Mind Prey (1999). He had recurring roles on Murder One (1995) and High Incident (1996). Then he got a regular part on Brooklyn South (1997) as Officer Jack Lowery and played a recurring character on Bochco's and David Milch's NYPD Blue (1993). In 2004, he got a semi-regular role on David Milch's critically acclaimed HBO drama Deadwood (2004) as Silas Adams. After "Deadwood" ended, he mostly guest starred on TV shows including Law & Order (1990), Jericho (2006) and NCIS (2003), but also appeared in movies including in Ben Affleck's Gone Baby Gone (2007), The Town (2010) and Argo (2012). RIP actor Val Kilmer, 65, who was my guest at TERRIFICON in 2019. Mr. Kilmer was great in so many films, The Doors, Tombstone, Top Gun and was a great big screen Batman. He loved meeting his fans at that show and receiving gifts such as drawings, patches, pins and paintings from them. My condolences to his family and friends. #ripvalkilmer
