Yesterday, I participated in two back-to-back interviews, the first with 11Alive and the second with Atlanta News First. The discussions centered on the superintendent search process, with a strong emphasis on the importance of transparency.

This morning I was so excited to see so many APS scholars participate in the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl. As a Board, we have shared our belief in the importance of literacy by establishing a goal and passing a policy in December.
