@oldstocky Bro, these houses would be horrendous if not for ample rooms with large windows. Bright light is necessary to signal alertness. Many houses do not have massive windows throughout, so the best option is to have layers of light so you can go bright or dim and warm.

Lots of people are saying I’m an academic who doesn’t understand what the trades are. But I’ve done lots of construction. Framing, roofs, doors and windows, tile, wood floors, plumbing, and electrical. I’m a master of none. But I understand them. The trades are NOT safe from AI.

He was made fun of for being the dirty smelly kid, got in trouble a lot and had a lot of issues. …when he left the military he became a heroin addict on skid row in LA and went to jail for drugs plenty before going to 30 detoxes and rehabs up and down the state of CA… to no avail. Tried all the religions and false gods to call his higher power and they had NO power. THE ONE TRUE GOD JESUS CHRIST made him clean in an instant after he got on his knees and begged the Lord to make him clean and save him.. he felt the weight of his sin and the holiness of God and dropped to his knees…. His Bible opened right up to this verse 👇🏻 Mark 1:40-41 A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees, “If you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus was indignant. He reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” He’s never used again…he’s patient and kind … a wonderful foster father and husband .. a man who submits to Christ. We will share our testimony as a one flesh union any time we can. He’s free to share mine and vice versa. The one thing he wouldn’t do as a man of God is shame anyone for their testimony because he has been forgiven much as has his wife! GLORY TO GOD.

@jamesonhaslam This is how every one learns to value compounding and consistency. At some point they learned or created an internalized system of rewarding themselves based on a prediction that their action would be worth something disproportionate in the future.

I'm probably one of the few people who is happy to see people steadily have their jobs replaced by AI like this. Some days I salivate shamelessly if I think of it too much. Most jobs are filler & LARP. Made up and unnecessary. If you watch people work, you realise hardly anybody does anything and often they do it poorly anyway. I don't blame them. Why pour your blood, sweat, and tears into companies that don't value you, harvest your creative energy, and drain your life force? Many people reading this secretly know they're getting paid to do nothing for more than 85% of their 'working' day. Great civilisations of the past such as Ancient Greece could advance fields like geometry, philosophy, art, music, and engineering so immensely because people had idle time to think –– they didn't waste their entire day and peak consciousness pretending to be busy, doing mundane non-life affirming tasks. It'll look much worse until it gets better, but we may see an intellectual boom in our lifetime. An entire new economic landscape that rewards creativity and up-skilling. I am so bullish it's unreal.
