My argument is in no case implying the forwards are without blame. I like Conway+ Strelec had a really good game vs Millwall. I’d also rather have them over Coburn

@Project_Boro You make your own luck. The positions and timing of our shots help them be blocked.
We're either too slow to shoot or we snatch at them, making them far more likely to be blocked and blocked well.

We must hold some sort of record for “shots blocked” this season.
But there is some truth to us being luckless. I can’t remember the last time a deflection or a ricochet went our way or dropped for one of our players.

We don't play in a way to create chances for our number 9.
Strelec will get goals with a run of games. But Conway, Whittaker and the midfielders are letting us down a lot with their finishing. Conway especially. He's so poor.

@david_sedgewick @dharvey4 Tbh i don't think so. Hellberg's teams rarely have a high scoring striker. We created chances for everyone but our strikers and have done all season. It's how Whittaker went on that run or games scoring, same with Browne. Strelec is top quality but needs better quality round him.

Ibeh should start Monday. We need to learn from the Coburn mistake. Play our young players and give them a proper chance. Just sticking your head in the sand and pretending it wasn't a mistake helps nobody.
