@JJmummy @Headteacherchat It makes me sad that in a time where we are discussing the problems of Ofsted and the added pressures they bring a school that this question is even being asked. You obviously don’t understand the SEN needs of that family and their child. Where is the human emotion?

@Headteacherchat SEN school here, we have been told by LA not to authorise, if they want a quieter holiday they need to go to a quieter resort in school holidays!!

@makekindling My son skipped 2days of school & on my request the other 3days he’s attended mornings. I hear you & empathise with you, it is emotionally exhausting. Because of the skipped days at the start of the week I spoke to many different professionals (too many to count and keep up with).

Hooray the bus pass has finally arrived. I don't understand @nxwestmidlands what all the lying was for as it clearly states that it wasn't put in the post 'til 20th Sept. 20 days even before it could start the journey. I still don't understand how that was affected by the strike

Coming up to three weeks and still no bus pass. 😡 @nxwestmidlands tried contacting me through Twitter last week only to be told to phone them. Tried phoning today but no one answers the phone. Why is such terrible service allowed?

Another day without a phone call or without any signs of the bus pass yet @nxwestmidlands are still convinced that this is because of the postal strikes. 🤔

I don't understand why @nxwestmidlands keep referring to the postal strikes when clearly the fact is that I was told it took them two 2 weeks before they even handed it over to the postal service. Stop using it as an excuse and provide better customer service. Still no bus pass.

@nxwestmidlands What a very poor and unsatisfying you provide! I order a replacement swift card on 31st Aug and have allowed 2 weeks for its delivery. Currently it still has not arrived. I understand we have had a bank holiday when it was ordered and various postal strikes. 1/3

@nxwestmidlands @Mitchell What a disappointing response! For 25yrs I've had different problems & issues with you and each & every time it's the same old thing. What are you doing to create a better customer experience because in 25yrs nothing seems to have changed? Are the incompetcancies be addressed?

When she spoke to me about the problem, she told me the card was posted on 11/09 & it was delayed because of the strikes. How on earth can a postal strike delay @nxwestmidlands puttingit in the post in the firstplace? It also took me 3 attempts to ask for a call back. 3/3

@nxwestmidlands when a phoned today I was made to wait for about 30mins before someone answered. Then while going through the security checks the lady on the phone kept calling me a woman even though it says Mr on the account and I had repeated told her I'm a male. 2/3
