The Mineola High School RISE students continued their community based learning by visiting Tropical Smoothie and then browsing and reading at Barnes and Noble.

Coming to the end of the Summer 2022 MHS RISE Cafe. Our last day menu consisted of banana and chocolate chip homemade waffles, fresh made fruit cups,coffee and turkey bacon. Enjoyed by students and staff. Served over 50 customers.

The MHS Rise students continued to learn about plants and ecology with a trip to Clark Botanical Gardens. They cooled off with a run through the sprinklers and a hike to though the woods.

The MHS RISE Cafe workers participated in Community Based Learning today by going to BJ’s Club to purchase products for the cafe.
