Hi! I'm an asst. prof. at the University of Tampa. I'm a 1st gen. college grad and scientist. Broadly, my research interest is in the ecology and evolution of parasitism. My research focuses on parasite behavior and its role in parasite evolution using a fly and mite system.

Florida box turtles are on the move! The developed hinge between the pectoral and abdominal scutes lets box turtles completely retreat in their shells 🥰

@DrChelseaLWood I heard your on point episode today and was struck by your description of trypanorhynchids. My students and I came across two larval trypanorhynchids in some fish we necropsied. It was my first time seeing one and I was in awe!
