Palantir's CEO published a manifesto arguing Western tech firms have a "moral debt" to US military dominance, that AI weapons are inevitable, and that "some cultures are dysfunctional." This isn't just a regularly evil tech or defence contractor, it’s a fascist political project.

The number of adults being diagnosed with ADHD has risen six-fold since 2017, and it has increased by almost a third in the last year alone. This is largely because of the rise of ADHD-specific telehealth clinics providing quick diagnoses, sometimes based on online questionnaires alone. Where those clinics are also dispensing medication, there are obvious concerns regarding clinical decision-making and commercial incentives. We need better regulation of telehealth services—it's an under-regulated part of our health system. Image: @abcnews

Did any “journalist” have the guts to ask the bleeding obvious: Did you breath test him after the game? Did you drug test him? If not, why not? Follow up question: Why did you rush him out of the MCG before independent doctors and drug testers could assess him?

Biggest admission from Graham Wright press conference is that the club knew Elijah Hollands was struggling in-game. Question now turns to why he played 9mins of Q4… at a minimum. Something Wright couldn’t answer and something he says the ensuing investigation will uncover.

Here's my poor attempt at a @Jomboy_ impression by doing a lip-reading of the Collingwood players talking about Elijah Hollands during the post-game presentations. #AFL cc @tommorris32 @Sammy__Edmund

@MHFantasyTakes @CarltonFC Because AFL clubs have historically been very open when a player tests positive and have never swept it under the rug.

I would like a full apology from the #AFL community for assuming the worst on the Elijah Hollands Situation. Facts reveal now that Elijah was suffering from mental health and NOT under the influence of any substances. Classic @CarltonFC fans looking for a scapegoat. #afl
MH@MHFantasyTakes

Crazy how the whole AFL community goes after Elijah Hollands after one bad game. Average @CollingwoodFC fans. When did we stop caring about Mental Health? Pies fans only do it when it’s convenient for them. Do better. #afl #collingwood #carlton #ElijahHollands

Australian Group 1 races on World Pool this autumn: - 14 of 18 winners were at a lower price than fixed 🔻 - Average market percentage World Pool - 122.8%, Fixed Odds SP 116.4% 🔻 - 11 of the 18 winners have been the horse in the market whose World Pool price is at the greatest discount to that on offer from fixed odds 🔻 - Group 1 starters in those 18 races, 53.6% at better odds on World Pool, 40.1 % at a shorter price ⬆️ At a time when Tabcorp is trying to launch the national tote, is World Pool fuelling a parimutuel perception problem? Check out our analysis on @TheStraightonX.

@TheAusInstitute @AmyRemeikis Have you seen what happened with the tobacco market when they got taxed to death? And your bright idea is to do that to the gambling market and push people to overshore providers who have zero care about responbile gambling

A 1.4% levy on the gambling industry could compensate the media for ALL revenue lost from a potential gambling advertising ban. Australians lose more money gambling than any other country. It's time for our governments to act. @AmyRemeikis #auspol

@Matt__Welsh_ 100%. You can agree that a regime change would be great for the people of Iran but Trump had zero plan going into this war and he has zero plan on how to get out of it.

I started a war for no good reason. With no strategy. No consultation with allies. No endgame. But now it’s the world’s job to re-open a Strait that was open before I shit the bed. Future generations will look back in astonishment that this bloke was President… twice!

@jtzaf Your “fact” was a false claim that the drug is endogenous in horses, when that is not proven. And that labs all around the world aren’t having positive results, which helps disproves the theory that it’s endogenous. I can see why you were let go as a journalist.

I understand why some media haven’t covered this case but I’m surprised it hasn’t received wider coverage. Trainers involved haven’t cheated nor done anything wrong. Publicly RV accepts this yet there are still penalties at the end of a case that has cost more than just $$$…

'You get called a cheat and there’s nothing worse' Trainers caught in the Formestane drug saga have broken their silence, claiming they have had their reputations damaged - without answers or any way to stop it happening again. betsy.com.au/you-get-called…

@jtzaf The only reason you are carrying on so much over this is that Racing Victoria fired you. That's the real reason why you're so incredibly defensive to some mild criticism I had about your reporting.

@jtzaf I didn't say they cheated and they were fined by Racing Victoria for presenting horses with a banned substance. Cross contamination events have always been incredibly difficult to determine when they occurred, it's an issue impacting all sports.

@jtzaf Occam's razor. A cross-contamination event occurred, and the horses have had the drug enter their system, which then results in the positive test.

@jtzaf I have read the reporting. There was a claim that it is endogenous in horses but that is not proven. Funny that every other horse in the country doesn't test positive if it's endogenous. Clearly you have an axe to grind with Racing Victoria.

@MittyPunt Respectfully Mitch, you clearly haven’t read much of the reporting. I’m sure the 20+ trainers with positives to a banned substance that is endogenous in horses think it’s not a big deal.
