This is a comment from someone who knows absolutely nothing about the Iranian industry in the last 30 years. Iran’s missile program has absolutely nothing to do with China.
Iran will not become a North Korea on steroids. This is already happening, and the entire model of Iranian fortifications is based on similar North Korean projects.
Iran is already an ambiguous nuclear power. They have the technology, the uranium, and the dual-use missiles to carry warheads. Miniaturization of the warhead with North Korean support would not be a problem. If the bomb has not been made yet, and I have my doubts, this happened purely due to political will.

If you allowed them to continue for even two years, they would build an arsenal so vast that we could never afford to take action. They could build nuclear weapons with impunity.
