@Mjohnson452 @CardPurchaser I started this just to get rid of everything I collected as a kid and somehow got hooked, lol! I've had a bulk order at PSA since 2/16. ETA to me 7/2. It did recently move into research and ID.

If I wanted to slab this, just for my PC, what is my best option and what is the best method to ship a card this thick? @CardPurchaser

@VALambeauLeaper @CardPurchaser I eventually will be sending in a decent sized packers PC order. Unfortunately I continue to add to it 😂 either SGC or Beckett. I have a bulk order into PSA right now of football cards.

This story is now more than 25 years old and I have told it more times than I can count, but it hits very differently today. I was anchoring SportsCenter one afternoon and Lou Holtz was on the show. I was quite excited to talk with him, he had been an icon all of my life. He was very friendly, asking me all about myself as we walked toward the studio to record an interview. I told him: “Actually, Coach, it’s quite exciting, my wife and I are expecting our first child in the next few weeks.” He stopped dead in his tracks and put a finger up near my face. And I’ll never forget what he said. “Young man, the most important thing you can do for a child is make sure every day they know how much you love their mother.” And, just like that, he started walking again. Our daughter was born a month later, our son came two years after that. And I have thought about what Lou Holtz said to me that day about a million times since. RIP Coach, thanks for the best advice anyone ever gave me.

@CarsonKallCards Going through a similar dilemma. I didn’t send any cards to get graded last year but planning on it for 2026. Think I’ll break it up and do separate orders both to PSA.

I’ve got about 20 sports cards and 10 pokemon cards set aside to grade. Wondering if I send as one submission or separate… I’ve only ever submitted sports cards solely through PSA. I haven’t had a collectors membership for about a year now. Buy the membership and ship bulk to PSA? Or send sports through PSA and Pokemon through another company? @CardPurchaser

@itsgeoffwilson Dude, it’s a monopoly regardless of how large the company is. If one company owns majority or close to all market share it’s a monopoly. You seem to be using Becketts smaller size as some justification. Odd.

Lots of talk about Collectors/PSA’s acquisition of Beckett making them a “monopoly.” Some perspective: PSA graded 500,000 cards last week. Beckett graded 18.000. Does buying a company less than 4% of your size makes you a “monopoly?”
