Bearded. Old. Likely smells of cigar smoke. Will go the extra mile for my friends, but will probably make fun of you for it.

@BernieSanders If only someone, anyone, had predicted this embarrassment.
Oh, wait...

@itskaeleerene Back porch swing seems smooth. Someone is putting in the proper maintenance.

The sad part is, much of Europe ISN'T better than this. That said, the good ones are really good, and they're as disgusted by their neighbors as we are indifferent. Also, the Japanese are always awesome. Even before the WC, I've had the pleasure to interact Japanese tourists in Florida. Those are consistently great people. Such step up from the usual Canadians.

@PunishedRWR I promised the Norwegians. There's a lot of them, so I can't let them down. Til Valhall! or something like that.
English

@ASvanevik Not a soccer fan, but I'll get behind this anyway. Til Valhall!

Now that the US is knocked out, I am formally extending an invitation to the American people to support Norway.
Why?
1: The Vikings discovered America before Columbus.
2: There are more ethnic Norwegians in the US than in Norway.
3: Next weekend we can pillage the English peasants together.

@HistoryGame_V @JoueursBE Okay, Twinkles, that’s enough fanboying for one night. You really need to get the drooling under control. Saint Bernards have less saliva. And better breath. Do they really not have tooth brushes over there?

@Fx3313 @JoueursBE Shh, chucklebunny, if your opinion doesn’t matter in your own country, why would you think it’d matter here?
English

@MkHmmr @JoueursBE American English is nothing more than a lousy accent.
English

@mikegalsworthy Give it a rest, Sasquatch. The manufactured outrage made for a fun debate, but it’s over now.
English

Americans just don’t seem to get it. It’s really bizarre.

@LeonKrauze What’s wrong with a president making a phone call on his player’s behalf? If Obama or Clinton did the same you’d be calling for a Nobel Peace Prize
English

@TraderWolfe @JoueursBE Yep. Didn't watch it, but I heard the US team was crap. I'm currently disappointed in a more important game loss - the Rays to the Yankees, 5-1. At home, no less.
English

@greg16676935420 First, I never cared or pretended to. The only redeeming quality was being able to troll the euroweenies. They get so uptight it's impossible not to mess with them.
English

@AzPetrich First, it's just soccer, you can chill a bit. Second, you're so gleeful about this. It's creepy.
English

@Airvooocht Why? What did he do wrong? He seemed rather stoic about the whole thing compared to most whiny soccer players.
English

@LearnToToad Who's pretending? I don't like it. And a lot of the fans are just weenies with a gob on one end or the other.
