@htomufc It’s a squad built to go deep, not just to blast the group stages. We should be beating them but we won’t be going up against that in the latter stages.

This is that game we were all worried about where there’s a lack of lock pickers against lower blocks. Will come down to fine margins this but this is where the lack of selection of TAA etc. look a bit eh. To be honest though, pressures building, we’ll get em.

If we don’t get back up there & fast, we won’t be getting anymore young talents. It’s not a case of 1 or 2 positions higher - it’s going to be brutal.

There has to be somebody that has the clubs interests. There’s needs to be a working balance. Getting rid of our young talent makes no sense.

What i hate about selling Bergvall is that we are supposedly a big club where these talents want to be Gray Odobert Bergvall Tel have had to play a lot of minutes since joining despite not being ready perhaps Then we sell them. What's the point? We are not Brighton

A painful rebuild should involve selling the players who used to be good or who are simply average. A painful rebuild should not be selling the players who haven't reached their prime yet who are highly rated. We must sell better and smarter, but we are losing our talent.

Selling a player who swept all POTS awards in his first season at the age of 18. We were all calling it such a huge miss when I said he was out for the season for the Europa League run. Had a 3 month injury last season and barely played and now we are all fine to let him go?

@tehTrunk It is not the time to train up raw prospects. Getting them all over the squad is what put us in 17th back to back. They should be excited by the project and the names and look for a good loan for when we get back to Europe hopefully. Vusk and Berg it looks like dont rate us

Probably a bit naive to think we could train up both Gray and Bergvall to the required standard… if it’s a choice between the two of them, I reckon Gray has a much taller ceiling… still, got a lot of love for Lucas, shame it’s come to this. Hope we can maybe explore a loan?

They should be excited by the project and look for a good loan to come back when we’ve got more games. They don’t rate us like that. Not sure what they expect from back to back 17th

I think De Zerbi might have the most power any PL manager has had in history. We became so desperate to stay up we basically told him you can sell our prospects (which you may or may not be around for) and spend £300m on win-now players. And he gets paid bank. Dream job for him

They clearly signed with us thinking we’re gonna stay at that mediocre signing level improvin players giving them game time to move to wherever later

Question @SpursOfficial fans. If Spurs were going to sign Tonali and 1 of Wharton or Fernandes, but had to rid of Bergvall for this to happen, are you taking it? You would be pushed to find many Spurs fans who wouldn’t take this. That is where i’m at. Only if we sign 2 of those
