It’s a beautiful feeling that these two moments come together. As we continue to pray for a brighter future for Kaduna, I’m also thanking Allah SWT for the gift of family. Through every challenge, every joy, and every milestone, His mercy has never left us. Alhamdulillah for another year of love, peace, understanding, and togetherness. Security First: Building a Better Kaduna Together Everything begins with security. When people don’t feel safe, businesses suffer, schools are disrupted, and farmers can’t even go to their farms with peace of mind. Just look at the number of businesses closing or struggling across Kaduna. Many investors are hesitant, entrepreneurs are finding it difficult to survive, and families are feeling the impact. Without security, economic growth becomes almost impossible. That’s why security must be our top priority. A peaceful Kaduna is the foundation for jobs, investment, quality education, and sustainable development. @IsaAshiruKudan believes every family deserves to live without fear. His vision is to work closely with security agencies, strengthen community-based intelligence, create opportunities for young people, and restore confidence across every part of Kaduna State. When security improves, businesses will reopen and expand, investors will return, farmers will cultivate without fear, children will stay in school, and communities will prosper once again. Security first. Everything else follows. Together, we can build a safer and more prosperous Kaduna State in shaa Allah.

Security First: Kaduna's Path to Prosperity No society can achieve lasting prosperity without security. The safety of lives and property is the foundation of economic growth, quality education, healthcare, investment and social stability. Where insecurity exists, development suffers. Kaduna State has everything it needs to become one of Nigeria's most prosperous states. It has fertile land, hardworking people, a strategic location and a rich industrial history. Sadly, persistent insecurity has prevented the state from reaching its full potential, especially in rural communities where farming is the main source of livelihood. Today, many farmers cannot safely access their farms. Some have abandoned their land, while others are forced to pay illegal levies to criminals before they can cultivate. This has reduced food production, increased food prices, destroyed livelihoods and slowed economic growth. The first duty of any government is to protect its people. Every other achievement means little if citizens cannot live, work or travel without fear. Unfortunately, many Kaduna residents believe the current administration has not provided the hands on leadership needed to tackle insecurity. At a time when communities need a governor who is visible, accessible and actively coordinating security efforts, there is a growing perception that the state is being governed in absentia. Security requires constant attention. A governor must regularly meet security agencies, engage affected communities, respond quickly to emerging threats and lead from the front. Leadership cannot be delegated when people's lives are at stake. Equally worrying is the policy of negotiating with and paying off violent criminals. While dialogue has its place, rewarding criminality only encourages more violence. Criminals should be arrested, prosecuted and prevented from terrorising innocent people, not given incentives. Kaduna needs a new approach built on strong leadership, effective intelligence, better coordination with security agencies and greater protection for rural communities. @IsaAshiruKudan offers that alternative. As a grassroots leader, he understands the daily struggles of ordinary people because he has remained close to them. He knows that insecurity is not just a government statistic; it is the pain of farmers who cannot farm, traders who cannot travel and families who live in fear. His deep connection with local communities will strengthen intelligence gathering, improve cooperation between citizens and security agencies and ensure that government responds quickly to security threats. Most importantly, he can provide the visible, hands on leadership Kaduna needs to restore peace. When farmers can return safely to their land, food production will increase. Businesses will grow, investors will return, jobs will be created and the economy will prosper. Kaduna's future begins with security. Without peace, there can be no meaningful development. With determined leadership that puts the safety of the people first, Kaduna can once again become a secure, productive and prosperous state.
